Corporate Support
As a registered charity which receives no public funding, we rely on donations and income from performances to support us.
In past years the band has been fortunate to have had several major sponsors including Flowers Fine Ales and PolySteel. Those sponsorships are now long finished, although we retained the Flowers name under which the band had achieved such success.
A donation to The Flowers Band will support the ongoing quality of our performances, assist us with meeting costs such as the purchase of new music, travel to competitions, venue hire, and support our work in the community, such as offering discount tickets to under 16’s so that they can experience the thrill of a top class brass band without a cost barrier. We also regularly lead masterclasses with community bands, and perform in fundraising concerts for other local charities.
By supporting the Flowers Band you are supporting a keystone in the cultural fabric of Gloucester, as well making a difference to the thousands of people our music reaches each year.
Opportunities
We would be happy to discuss how your business could support us, and what we could offer in return. We are able to completely tailor your sponsorship package to your needs. Previous examples include;
High level branding, such as naming of the band, e.g. “PolySteel”, and “Flowers".
Including your logo on banners which are displayed at every concert performance the band undertakes.
Promotion on our Social Media which has a combined following of over 15,000 across our platforms, and our website which receives around 50,000 visitors annually.
Inclusion of your advert/logo in our concert programmes.
Complimentary tickets.
Your logo included on new uniforms.
Acknowledgement for ‘in-kind’ support such as provision of a van to transport equipment to engagements.
